Coming to Miami? Stop here first ...

Time and time again I find myself getting the text, 'yo, I'm gonna be in Miami for *insert date here*, what's gonna be poppin' ...I always find myself wishing I would have made a go-to guide that I could just pass out to everyone. So with that being said ...

Here is Breology's 101 to spending a week Miami:

FOR DRINKS:

(Yes, I know this is a little extensive ..but let's be honest, you didn't just come to Miami to lay out on the beach the whole time.)

Tuesday: Rácket every Tuesday is giving us the best of the old school vibes with their Home Cookin' party with free bbq and open bar 10pm-12am. If this isn't enough to bring you out, the decor is to die for.

Wednesday: Lost Weekend is ladies night! Each and every Wednesday you can go and drink for free ladies. Upon arrival you'll be handed six raffle tickets that you can redeem at the bar to get a free drink. Although this isn't a club, this is the perfect place to kick back and shoot a few rounds of pool with your friends. The bar is located across the street from Señor Frog which is also a fun time if you want to dip out and join a more lively scene. If you want to explore around Wynwood, you can go to Brick where ladies drink free well drinks from 8pm to midnight.

Thursday: The W in downtown Miami has beautiful views of the city that you can enjoy while sipping on $5 cocktails all night. Also on Thursday's you can head over to SideBar in Brickell (personally one of my favorite bars), each Thursday they have free drinks for the ladies starting at 9pm until midnight. However, if that didn't win you over they also offer free Jameson-infused ice cream; pretty good deal if you ask me, get drunk while eating ice cream ...like honestly tho? The best!

Friday: Welp, sorry I can't help ya today ...you gotta pay for full price drinks. But with all the money you've saved this week, you can afford it!

Saturday: On Saturday's we brunch! If you haven't had enough free drinks throughout the week ladies, come here to finish off the week strong with free bottomless mimosas with the purchase of an entree at American Social located in Brickell.

Sunday: Of course if you visit Miami you have to go to church on Sunday. I'm talking about LIVing it up on Sunday. LIV on Sunday has brought out some of the most popular celebrities and indeed is a movie each and every week. For my ladies, if you're visiting town there are bound to be some promoters that can get you into LIV for a small fee, or for no fee at all. However, if it's a special event going on in Miami I'll go ahead and let you know that if you want to LIV it up on Sunday then you need to make sure you save enough money to make it back home on that Monday. Prices for special events/occasions admission can start at $100 and well ...they go up from there.

However, if you're looking for something a little less pricey you can hit up Brick in Wynwood. Every Sunday Brick is the hottest spot to be at, each week there is a party that all the locals come out and enjoy sounds played by some of Miami's hottest deejay's. Fundae' Sunday has become a tradition that everyone looks forward to every week.

The exciting part of all these bars is that most don't close until 3am or later. If you didn't know most of Miami doesn't close until 5am, so drink your water and rest throughout the day to ensure you make it thru the long night.

FOR ENTERTAINMENT:

While most people don't come into town to explore the city, here are a few suggestions for when the restaurant promoters on Ocean have offered you one too many happy hour deals and you just need a get away ...

Wynwood Walls: throw on your most urban outfit, and hit the streets of Wynwood to explore the beautiful art work by local artist (this is the perfect spot to get some dope pics for the gram).

Mr. Kream: while you're in Wynwood stop by Mr. Kream and cool down with some ice cream. This is one of my favorite ice cream parlors that I've ever been to. Founded by two deejay's, they make sure to keep the vibes right with a live deejay all day! Also, play some of your favorite childhood games with your friends. This is just a fun place to come and catch a vibe when you need a break from the heat.

Little Havana: Come take a trip to Cuba by visiting Little Havana with it's vibrant culture you're bound to forget that you're in Miami for a short period of time. If you want some authentic Cuban this is definitely the closest you're going to get without taking the trip overseas.

Frost Museum: located in Downtown Miami, it stretches out across four distinct buildings: the Aquarium, the Frost Planetarium, and the North and West wings. This unique museum takes you on a journey through the ocean to the Everglades, and from the human cell to outer space.

Museum of Ice Cream: This is another good place for photo ops, the museum has graced Miami Beach with it's presense and doesn't seem to be going any where anytime soon. Since opening they have sold out of tickets every day and show no sign of slowing down.

STRIP CLUBS:

Tootsies: voted by my friends as the best strip club here in Miami. I've been and personally I just wanna say they have some of the best lemon pepper wings.

E11EVEN: while I haven't been, it is definitely one of the most talked about strip clubs here.

G5: each and every Tuesday is two dolla Tuesday's at G5

Office: I haven't been here personally, but hear nothing but lit stories revolving around it.

KOD: the infamous King of Diamonds is definitely overrated in my books, but worth the visit nonetheless.

FOR FOOD:

Here are a few suggestions, don't really have descriptions for these but they've got some fyeee food so check it out!

Chef Creole (Haitian)
Golden Crust (Caribbean)
Tap 42 (America/brunch)
Bodega (Tex Mex)
Kush (Burger Bar)
Crabman 305 (Seafood)
